Our aluminum long runner intake manifold, shown here with the space saver 4 into1 exhaust manifold, VNT S/T 3B turbo and our custom 2 1/2 inch intake pipe is really a piece that must be seen in person. The plentum is machined from 6061 T-6 billet aluminum. The runners meet the intake ports at a 45 degree angle for improved air intake flow. While most people are satisfied with runners that are within 1/16 of an inch, ours are equal lenth within 0.001"! This combination has proven to deliver over 200HP reliably on just North American diesel fuel alone with very little smoke. While allowing the plentum to be spaced further from the head, it has proven to reduce air intake temperatures. While most factory intakes favor #2 and #3 cylinders, this intake manifold is balanced to deliver equal air intake to each cylinder. This custom intake can be ordered to allow the intake barb to face either direction, right or left or flanged to accept your factory anti-shudder valve to accommodate any 8 valve inline VW diesel engine or custom application.
