This turbo is an upgraded hybrid, rebuilt by Street Toys to replace the stock BV39 Borg and Warner (KKK) turbo found on the 1.9liter VW BRM TDI engine commonly used in North America. The S/T Super 19 BRM VNT turbo comes with an enlarged custom turbine wheel that is designed to improve exhaust flow and lower exhaust manifold pressures. The intake side has been upgraded with a custom made 49mm compressor wheel with an inducer size of 38mm. This turbo combined with quality Bosio injector nozzels and the proper tuning will support 175HP reliably in the BRM engine. This turbo is an upgraded unit designed to accept all factory emmissions, EGR etc..and will bolt in with no modifications needed to the factory exhaust system and intake. This modified turbo is intended to be used for off road applications.
Ce turbo est un turbo hybride modifié, reconditionné par Street toys afin de remplacer le turbo d’origine Borg and Warner (KKK) BV39 monté sur moteur VW 1.9L TDI code BRM communément utilisé en Amérique du Nord. Le turbo VNT S/T super 19 BRM est composé d’une turbine d’échappement plus large conçue pour améliorer le débit d’échappement et diminuer la pression interne du collecteur d’échappement. Le côté admission d’air a été amélioré avec une roue compresseur personnalisée de 49 mm de diamètre et 38 mm de diamètre de d’entrée. Si associé à des nez d’injecteurs BOSIO de qualité et une reprogrammation sur mesure, ce turbo sera capable de fournir une puissance de 175 chevaux fiable dans le moteur BRM. Ce turbo est une préparation conçue pour accepter tous les dispositifs de contrôle de émissions, EGR…etc et se montera sans modifications nécessaires des systèmes d’échappement et d’admission d’air. Ce turbo modifié est prévu pour être utilisé pour des applications hors-route.
